From the moment I got my first iPod, music became a vital part of my life. Years later, standing in the crowd at my first concert, I realized it wasn’t just the artist onstage that captivated me. It was the experience: the visuals, the messaging, the shared emotion. That moment shifted my focus from what was being performed to how it was being created.

As I got older, I started paying attention to the stories behind the posters, campaigns, and merch, and how those choices shaped the way audiences connected with artists and culture. I found myself wondering: Who decides this? Why do some moments stick with you while others disappear? That curiosity brought me to Chicago and to DePaul, where I studied public relations, advertising, and event production.

 

What began as a love for music and pop culture turned into a real interest in branding, storytelling, and the strategy behind it all.

Now, I’m interested in work that sits where creativity and strategy meet. I’m drawn to stories that feel authentic, inclusive, and culturally relevant, the kind that make people pause instead of scroll.

I’ve been the person in the audience. Now, I’m ready to shape the stories and strategies that bring those moments to life.

Personal Interest

In my free time, I am passionate about discovering, exploring, and experiencing new media, including books, TV shows, movies, albums, podcasts, and so on. In 2026, one of my goals is to listen to one new album each week and read at least one book a month. Engaging with a broad collection of media, both old and new, allows me to find inspiration, develop fresh outlooks, and stay informed on the news and popular culture. This helps me keep my mind open to new areas of media and the lifestyles they portray, which is valuable in all areas of my life and relevant to my career aspirations. This practice not only brings me enjoyment but also keeps me motivated and inspires me to create my own media.
